Oxford House is based in New Cairo. Students become members and attend once or twice a week for sessions lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
At Oxford House, every student has their own programme of work and activities which adapts to their own unique strengths and weaknesses. This ensures that children are stretched and challenged in precisely the right ways – whether they are finding school work hard or are a high performing student.
Oxford House Qualified Teachers work with students in a maximum ratio of 1:6, ensuring the right balance between individual support and independent learning. As children practise and acquire new skills, our teachers are there to encourage, explain or teach a new concept.
All members follow individualised learning programmes in maths, science, spellings, reading and writing. They work on a variety of activities in each area including social skills and character building.
At the end of their learning session, students are also rewarded with fifteen minutes of fun activities. Here, we encourage children to engage with others, make new friends and take part in some group fun, educational games and discoveries.
