Daughter 3 can’t remember her ABC’s and I’m worried about the school interview?

It’s normal for children to learn at different rates and for some children, learning their ABCs can take longer than others. However, it’s important to keep in mind that the school interview process is not just about a child’s knowledge of their ABCs. The interview is meant to assess the child’s overall readiness for school and their ability to learn.

There are many ways you can help your daughter learn her ABCs, such as:

Repeatedly singing the alphabet song

Reviewing flashcards with upper and lowercase letters

Playing games that involve letter recognition and matching

Reading books that focus on the alphabet

Encourage her to practice writing the letters

You may also want to speak with her teacher or a learning specialist to get additional support and guidance.
