How soon after giving birth is it okay to have intercourse?

It is generally recommended to wait at least 4-6 weeks after giving birth before having intercourse. This allows for the cervix to heal and for any tears or episiotomies to heal properly. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider as recovery times can vary and they can give you personalized advice based on your birth experience and overall health.
