Child safety and injury prevention

My child keeps trying to play with the electrical sockets?

This is a common behavior for young children, as they are naturally curious and may not understand the danger of electrical sockets. To address this, it is important to childproof your home by installing outlet covers on all accessible sockets. Additionally, you should supervise your child at all times to ensure they are not playing near electrical outlets.

You can also make sure that child is aware of the dangers of electrical sockets by teaching them in a simple way and showing them what can happen if they touch the socket. You can also make use of visual aids like pictures or videos of children getting harmed from electricity.

It’s also a good idea to keep furniture, such as sofas and tables, away from outlets to make it more difficult for your child to access them. You may also consider setting up a play area for your child where outlets are not accessible.
